News and information from the Catholic Single Again Council of Baltimore, Inc.
Our History
In May, 1989, a group of individuals met to explore ways to expand Catholic Ministry
to the separated, divorced and widowed.  In inaugrating the Catholic Single Again Council ( C.S.A.C. ), these leaders built upon the poineering work, at the Archdiocesan level, office of Evangelization done by Sr. Kate Birch, S.S.N.D. and SWORD.

The acronym SWORD ( Separated, Widowed or Divorced ) has since been replaced,
but the efforts of the volunteers who now make up the Single Again Council continue to have a productive association with the Archdiocese of Baltimore in continuing this essential ministry to those in need throughout the community.

James Young.    continues via this link
